About Me
For the past seven years, I have owned and operated a landscape design business but my path to this career was far from predictable. I earned my bachelor’s degree in International Studies from UNC-CH and a JD from the UVA School of Law. After several years of practicing law, I decided to stay home with my two young boys and, in my spare time, I began experimenting with plants in my own yard and reading everything I could about gardens. Having been bitten by the “gardening bug” I decided to enroll at NCSU where I took classes for four years in both the Horticulture and Landscape Architecture departments.
